Visitor & contractor management made easy.
Do I need my own iPad?
Yes, but we can supply you with a complete starter pack to get you set up with Sine for your site. Visit our Sine Shop to see what set up suits your site best.
Which iPad do I need?
SinePoint Pro works best with the latest iPad Air, iPad 4 or iPad mini. SinePoint Pro utilises Apple’s new iBeacons and bluetooth technology which requires these newer iPads with Bluetooth 4.0 onboard. Sine will also work with older iPads, but the iBeacons and bluetooth technology won’t work on these older models.
Talk to us about what this means for your site. Talk to us too about leasing options for iPads and stands.
How much does Sine cost?
Free for visitors and contractors . Sites choose a plan to suit. Costs for Sites are based on usage and include a 14-day free trial. Contact us to set up a free trial and discuss a plan suitable for your site.
Sine is cheaper than printed passes. But if you need, Sine prints them too.
When you consider how much you spend on printed passes, lost plastic badges and re-writable access cards, Sine is a great option for your Venue to save money and to look much more professional. We have set Sine up, so your Visitors can receive their access pass on arrival any which way possible. If they don’t have the Sine app yet, then they can receive their pass via email, scan it using a QR code or they can print their pass using a wireless enabled label printer.
Is my data safe? Yes it is.
Sine is designed to work with existing reception staff to greet visitors as concierge would.
Venue staff can hold their SinePoint (iPad) in their hand with our special iPad case. This looks very professional to visitors and speeds up the check-in process at reception or at events. Alternatively, Sine can be used as a stand alone check-in point when staff are overloaded. A combination of assisted check-in and self check-in is utilised by many of our clients.
How do I lock the SinePoint app down on my iPad so the app can’t be closed?
Easy. Go to your iPad’s Settings > General > Accessibility > Learning (Guided Access) and turn Guided Access On and set a 4-digit passcode. Then with the SinePoint app open, triple click the Home button to enable Guided Access. Your SinePoint app will not be able to be deactivated unless you triple click the Home button again and then re-enter your passcode.
