Primary Connect Supply Chain Driver Induction

Welcome to the Primary Connect Supply Chain Driver Induction. Whether this is your first time or you have visited before, it is important that you understand your safety and legal obligations, and the behaviour we expect from you.

Prior to arriving at our sites where digital driver induction is in place, all drivers must complete the induction online. This mandatory requirement is to ensure you understand your obligations whilst driving and transporting goods in and out of site. This induction is valid for one year. You will receive automatic notifications when your induction is due for renewal.

Drivers will also need the Sine Pro app to digitally check-in when you arrive at site.

Follow the instructions below to complete your online induction and readiness for entering site.

Complete Induction

Please click on the link below to complete our Online Driver Induction.
You will be directed to a Sine landing page. Click on the ‘Create an Account’ button to create your Sine profile and complete the induction.
Take note of the username and password as you will need these again when accessing the mobile app.
Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and complete your induction.
Once you have created your account profile you will be directed to the driver induction workflow page. Please watch the induction video, answer the questions correctly and submit your response.
The induction can be completed online via your desktop, tablet or mobile and will take around 20 minutes to complete.

Download Sine Pro app

You will need the Sine Pro mobile app to digitally check-in at site and verify that you have a valid induction.
The Sine Pro app can be downloaded from the App store or Google Play – search for ‘Sine Pro’, install and log into the app using your account profile details created when completing your induction.
Set ‘Sine Pro’ to use your location to ‘Always’. This will allow you to check in and out of our distribution centres (enabling auto check out as well). The app does not use your location services once you have signed out or leave our DCs.
Within the profile section, upload a photo to use as a profile picture. You will need this to be able to check in.
Verification of email and mobile phone number must also be completed before arriving at site.
Within the profile section, verify your mobile: Tap ‘Verify Mobile’ button. You will receive a 5-digit verification PIN sent as an SMS. Enter the PIN into the field to verify your mobile number.
Within the profile section, verify your email: Tap ‘Verify Email’ button. You will be sent a link via an email that you will need to click.

You have now successfully completed the induction and readiness activities required for our Primary Connect sites.

Arrive on site and check in using the QR code

Each time you arrive on site, open the Sine Pro app on your mobile (once you are stationary outside the gatehouse and with the engine off) and go to the ‘Check In’ section from the bottom menu.
Select the site that you are checking into from the list of options under ‘Nearby Sites’ or select ‘Scan’ option in the top right corner.
Scan the QR Code placed at the gatehouse or transport office.
Select ‘Driver’ from the list of options.

That’s it! When you leave, you will be checked out automatically.

How does Sine Pro use my location?

The Sine Pro mobile app uses location services on a mobile device to allow a user to trigger a 'check-in' or 'check-out' event when a user enters or leaves a specified geofence area.

What is a geofence?

A geofence is a virtual perimeter for a real-world geographic area. Sine Core dynamically generates a geofence radius around a point location (Woolworths Distribution Centres) to provision mobile-based check-in via the Sine Pro app. Geofencing enables the Sine Core software to trigger a response when a mobile device enters or leaves a particular area.

Is Sine Pro tracking me?

The Sine Pro App does not enable location tracking in any way. This alert, sent from the phone’s own Operating System, is because the phone is tracking the location at all times, and Sine leverages this, as explained below. The Sine mobile app uses location services to trigger a 'check-in' or 'check-out' event when a user (in this case, your staff or a visitor) enters or leaves the specified geofence area. This is not used for the purposes of tracking whilst within the geofence area, and Sine can not reverse engineer this location to track the device in any way. To preserve data and battery life, Sine only monitors the known location of sites that the device has checked into before.

How much mobile data does Sine Pro use?

The mobile app is optimised to use mobile data in an efficient way. Expected data usage per day on our testing devices is less than 0.5 - 1 mb depending on visits, activity, and usage.

How does Sine Pro store information and where is my data stored?

All customer data is stored in the Sydney, Australia AWS region. More detailed information is available in the Sine security overview available via https://www.sine.co/security/

What is your privacy policy?

We takes data privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains how we collect, share and use Personal Information, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. Our Privacy Policy is available via https://www.sine.co/privacy/

What if the privacy policy changes?

Visitor and Contractor Management may update the privacy policy and will communicate in a timely manner with all users if/when the policy is updated.

Visitor and Contractor Management may use third party suppliers and service providers to provide necessary hardware, software, networking, connectivity, storage and related technology required to provide the Services. Further information on how each of the below third party suppliers and service providers generally collect, hold, use and disclose personal information and other data may be available on such third party’s website and/ or privacy policy if you wish to review the same. Third Party suppliers that Sine use are AWS, SendGrid, Twilio, MongoAtlas, Cloudflare, Intercom, Pipedrive, Unleashed, and Xero.
