You will be asked on check-in to complete a daily COVID-screening questionnaire. Your COVID-screening questionnaire will remain valid for one day. So you will need to complete this each day when you arrive at the hospital.

What is Sine?

Sine is a visitor management system, trusted by thousands of businesses globally. Our customers use Sine to enhance the safety, security and compliance of managing visitors, contractors and staff within their workplace.

What settings do I need to be enabled on my phone?

In order to check-in, you will need to grant Sine Pro app some permissions. We request that location services are "always allowed", as well as access to the camera on your device.

I accidentally signed up with my personal email, how can I change this to my work email address?

Within the Sine Pro mobile app, navigate to the 'Profile' section and then choose 'Edit' (in the top right corner). Here, you can enter a new email address. Ensure you then select 'Save' before exiting the edit screen.

Why does the app need to access my location?

To ensure accurate contact tracing and check-in, Sine needs to be able to verify that you are physically present at the Royal Adelaide Hospital when you check in. Sine also uses a geofence to identify when you have left site and will automatically check you out.

Why does the app need to access my camera?

Sine utilises QR codes to allow you to check in and out of the workplace. These require Sine Pro to be granted access to your camera in order to scan the QR code.

Where is my data stored?

All data collected is stored on our secure servers, located within Australia. Sine exclusively uses Amazon Web Services for all of our infrastructure requirements. We use a carefully selected set of service providers for specific capabilities, for example Twilio and SendGrid for messaging and email. All of our infrastructure currently resides within the Sydney, Australia region of Amazon Web Services.

How will my data be used?

In the event of a positive COVID-19 case at the hospital, we may use your personal information to contact you to advise you of this. We may also share the information you provide with relevant health authorities or their nominated contact tracing agencies for COVID-19 contact tracing.
