Privacy Policy – EU users

Sine takes data privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains how we collect, share and use Personal Information, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.

Additional terms applicable to EU users

European Union (EU) data protection law regulates the transfer of EU customer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), which includes all EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. The EU Standard Contractual Clauses are standardised contractual clauses used in agreements between service providers (such as Sine) and their customers to ensure that any personal data leaving the EEA will be transferred in compliance with EU data-protection law and meet the requirements of the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC.

Sine Technologies Limited (a company incorporated in Ireland with registration number 610962) has entered into the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as Data Controller and Exporter for the transfer of personal data to Sine Group Pty Ltd (incorporated in Australia) as Data Importer and Processor. The EU Standard Contractual Clauses provide specific guarantees around transfers of personal data for Sine services. All European Union customers automatically benefit from the Sine EU Standard Contractual Clauses without the need for a separate set of EU Standard Contractual clauses to be signed. A copy of the Sine EU Standard Contractual Clauses can be found here.
