Australian Government Entrepreneurs’ Programme commercialisation grant opens doors for Adelaide-based startup

Adelaide, Australia – 13 September 2016 – Sine, the leading Australian-headquartered provider of intelligent visitor and contractor registration software, has today announced that it has partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Aruba Networks to provide guests with instant Wi-Fi credentials on check-in at facilities.

The fast growing, Adelaide-based software company is a recipient of a commercialisation grant offered under the Australian Government’s Entrepreneurs’ Programme. The grant supports small and medium businesses commercialise unique products and services.

“By partnering with Aruba, we are one step closer to creating the digital workplace of the future,” said Antony Ceravolo, CEO and Founder, Sine. “The support and validation that the business has had from the Australian Government has allowed us to accelerate our business expansion and has opened doors to Sine working with global companies like Aruba.”

“This is a real example of Australian innovation at its best. Sine highlights just how competitive and progressive Australian technology companies are. Sine is getting recognition on the world stage and already operates a substantial amount of its business overseas. This is a local company that was born to be global. The Accelerating Commercialisation element of the Entrepreneurs’ Programme is about fast tracking Australian businesses and helping companies achieve global scale and Sine is a prime example of that,” said Larry Lopez, Director of Accelerating Commercialisation, and Entrepreneurs’ Programme.

Guests who check-in at meetings, schools, airports, hotels, offices, construction sites and events using Sine will now be automatically authenticated onto the facility’s Wi-Fi network via Aruba ClearPass.

When a visitor, contractor or staff member checks into a facility with Sine, their user identity details and visitor type will automatically be sent to Aruba’s API. Aruba ClearPass will then validate and authenticate the request on the cloud and provide the user with unique Wi-Fi credentials.

Headquartered in Adelaide, Sine’s visitor management software allows schools, construction companies, industrial facilities, offices, property managers and hospitals to manage visitor, contractor, staff and member check-ins.

Customers worldwide are using the company’s API to create digital workplaces, by integrating Sine with meeting booking, induction, safety, compliance, access control, Wi-Fi provisioning and other platforms.
