Identity verification has always involved a trade-off, rigorous ID checks slow people down, while a fast entry leaves gaps in the record. Many verification workflows require teams to balance speed, accuracy, and recordkeeping.
Advanced ID Check is designed to support all of these. Visitors can complete verification quickly – and by the time they’re on site, the verification record is already there.
Advanced ID Check is designed to apply the same verification process to each visitor check-in.
Sine’s latest feature gives every site an integrated, audit-ready way to help verify that visitors and contractors match the identity presented. Teams get a stronger record of who is walking through the door, with verification details attached to the visitor pass.
Manual document checks are only as reliable as the person conducting them. And if there’s an audit or incident review, teams are left scrambling to piece together evidence of who was on site and how they were cleared.
All it takes is one person on site who shouldn’t be there to create a serious safety, security, or compliance issue. If there’s a gap between who someone says they are and who they actually are, it needs to be checked before access is granted, not discovered when something goes wrong.
Advanced ID Check in the SinePoint Pro kiosk brings identity verification directly into the check-in flow, creating a verified record from the moment the visitor arrives on site.

When a visitor begins check-in at a SinePoint Pro iPad kiosk, they are prompted to scan a government-issued ID such as a passport, driver’s licence, or national ID card. The system checks document authenticity indicators, then compares the scanned ID document against the visitor photo using facial recognition technology – presenting a similarity score directly in the dashboard and on the visitor pass.
Identity verification happens almost instantly, within a single workflow, reducing reliance on manual spot checks and staff judgment while helping keep check-in moving. And because not all visitors carry the same risk, you can apply stricter verification requirements to contractors or high-risk visitor categories.
ID verification runs locally on the kiosk, reducing the need to send identity documents to the cloud for comparison and adding another layer of security and privacy for organisations with strict data handling requirements.

The result is a timestamped, auditable record attached to the visitor pass in the activity feed. Security and admin users can view a verification status within the pass record at any time.
The technology supports over 16,000 different ID documents from over 250 countries, so teams can better verify that the person standing at the entry point matches the identity presented, before they set foot on site. And when you need the record, it’s already there.
Advanced ID Check is built for environments where identity verification is part of compliance, safety, or access-control workflows – including manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, construction, critical infrastructure, and enterprise facilities with regulated access requirements.
