The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak continues to throw new challenges at businesses as they seek to balance preventative measures that will reduce transmission with the need to re-open and begin the economic recovery.

Sine Daily Check, powered by Workflows, offers a simple workforce management solution for businesses as they look to reopen and keep their staff safe.

What is Sine Daily Check?

Sine Daily Check enables you to have all staff and visitors to your site complete a COVID-19 check-in form on arrival to work every morning. This is an essential opportunity to remind workers of your COVID-19 policies that have been implemented to protect your workplace and remind staff of the symptoms they need to watch for as indicators of the coronavirus.

When someone arrives on-site, they are prompted to complete their Sine Daily Check using the Sine Pro mobile app. For regular or returning visitors, this check-in can be prompted by scanning a QR code poster or simply by entering your geo-fenced worksite.

After confirming they have read and understood your COVID-safe policies their check-in will be complete.

This daily prompt and screening is an ideal opportunity to ensure your staff are receiving up to date information and are arriving on-site, fully aware of their obligations and procedures to be followed in your workplace to protect against COVID-19.

Accept and reject check-in requests

For visitors and contractors arriving on your site, Sine Daily Check enables you to have these check-ins placed in a ‘Pending’ state. This empowers your staff to review these check-ins and responses to your Sine Daily Check screening questions before accepting or rejecting the check-in.

How does Sine Daily Check help with contact tracing?

Every entrance in and out of your worksite is logged in your Sine web dashboard. This means you have quick access to data allowing you to trace who was on-site at any given time. Additionally, it provides you vital contact details, such as a mobile number or email address, to aid in prompt communication when the need for contact tracing arises.

What other COVID-safe workplace strategies can be implemented?

Businesses have implemented a variety of preventative measures to help protect their workplace and staff against COVID-19. These include:

  • Shift workplace furniture and layout to accommodate and encourage social distancing
  • Where possible, hold meetings online and avoid face-to-face meetings
  • Ensure that every worker has their own workstation and tools or equipment available to them. If this is not possible, implement a regular cleaning schedule to ensure shared tools and workstations are properly maintained
  • Provide clear guidance for staff on the number of people that can be in common areas at the same time
  • Stagger meeting times or visitor appointments to avoid overlap as much as possible. This will help reduce the likelihood of queues developing for people arriving to sign-in

The Sine Daily Check Process

The process for staff is quick, easy and contactless. Plus, Sine Daily Check can be configured to best suit your operational requirements. To get started, it’s as simple as having your staff download the Sine Pro app to their mobile device.

Arriving on Site

The Sine Daily Check process can be intitiated either by entering a geofenced area (your site) or by using the Sine Pro mobile app to scan a QR code sign-in poster.

Completing the check

The daily screening questions are prompted by the sign-in request and a push notification is sent to the staff member’s mobile. From here, they submit their responses to the screening questions and complete their sign-in through the app.

Leaving the site

Once the staff member has completed their work on-site, they will check out of the site. This can be completed automatically when they leave the geofenced area, or they can sign out by scanning the QR code poster once more.

It’s as simple as that!
